Pitt Meadows Museum to Kick off Holiday Season with Tree Decoration – Maple Ridge News

The Pitt Meadows Museum invites people to come and decorate their Christmas tree.

The museum will open on November 21 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and people can come and decorate, craft and even craft Putz houses.

“Starting with our Deck the Halls program on November 21, we’re diving deep into the holiday spirit. During our opening hours, we’ll have a Christmas look and find and a few small traditional Christmas items (like pomanders and stringing popcorn) for you to participate in. Enter and enjoy the museum in all its Christmas splendor! said the museum.

The museum will not apply for a vaccine passport, but it does apply mask warrants, as well as contact tracing.

This year, the museum’s Victorian Christmas kits will also be donated. Kits include candle-making, a scavenger hunt, a booklet filled with Christmas butter-making tutorials, illuminations, and more.

To pre-order, people can email the museum at [email protected] and let us know how many kits they need, along with their name. People can also call 604-465-4322. However, the museum prefers an e-mail request so as not to miss it.

The kit collection dates start on December 1, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
